A very attractive slimline pen with a tapered barrel. Handcrafted from Florida cedar wood with quality chrome plated components.

This is the most widely used wood for making recorder musical instruments. It possesses properties that make it uniquely suitable for this, such as good moisture absorption, low expansion when wet and mild antiseptic properties. Among many native American cultures, the smoke of burning eastern juniper is believed to expel evil spirits prior to conducting a ceremony, such as a healing ceremony. The tree is commonly used as a Christmas tree in various America states. 

This pen is supplied with a black Cross style refill (installed) and a black velvet drawstring pouch. Pen boxes can be purchased separately.
